  “I have two Japanese Chins. One is overly friendly and the other is a growler/biter.
  Laurie never complain about either and tells me how well behaved they are. She is very accommodating on special requests as to their grooming. My dogs are always happy after their grooming.”

  “We have been taking our dogs and cats to Laurie once a month for over 15 years. Our pets always come home happy and clean and Laurie is, in my opinion, kind, well mannered and quite accomodating when I have to change appointment dates at the last minute. I am really upset with the reviewer, Phaedra, for writing what they did. We had a Standard Poodle, at one time, that Laurie did groom, so I also know what it 'takes' to groom them. It sounds like this reviewer Phaedra didn't want to pay for all the work it would take to leave the legs long. Its to bad they didn't get a chance to see her skills, because I remember how beautiful my Poodle looked when Laurie groomed him.”

  “My cat is impossible to bathe and cut. He makes the whole process a horrible chore. However, Laurie has never complained and always tells me how good he is! I've had other groomers cut his hair and because he struggles, they cut him! I get him back bloody! Laurie always treats him well and he always seems perfectly happy when I pick him up.
  
  I've had her cut his hair three or four times now. The service and workmanship is consistently good.
  
  Laurie is very talkative and high strung, but I don't think she's rude or surly like the other poster here said... and it would never occur to me that she would ever treat my cat with anything less the utmost respect. If anything, I imagine the other poster may have gotten her on a bad day.
  
  Dusty (my cat) is my best friend. I don't trust anyone else with him.”

  “I brought my standard poodle to her and asked to keep his leg hair long. She acted like she would be very put out by that and would rather take his legs down. When we said no, that we didnt like it like that, she said that we would have to pay more like $200 vs. $100. Her attitude was so bad, abrupt, and in our face about what SHE wanted to do that we ultimately left. I usually groom my dog myself and know what it takes. After all was said and done, we didnt want her touching our dog anyway with that attitude. This lady only wants to do what is convenient for HER. We probably would have given her the $200 that she asked for if she wasnt so surly and bad mannered during the whole interaction. After all, isnt it about what the customer wants? She sure doesnt want to do more than the very minimum and I will never recommend her.”
