  “I've taken my dogs here for grooming the past 5 years. Service was a little inconsistent, but just took my pug mix last week and they really did a nice job. They were courteous and caring :)”

  “Great little Mom and Pop shop in Quartz Hill. I've been going there for many years even though the PetSmart and Petco in Palmdale are much closer to my house. Critter Country's food prices are MUCH lower than any competitors and they are always helpful and knowledgeable. If, by chance, the employee helping me doesn't know as much, they always ask another employee rather than try to sell me a bunch of needless stuff. I've also taken my Maltese in many times (every few months for about 4 years now)and have even been lucky enough to watch them groom her if I go back before she's ready. I've never seen any type of neglect or abuse on their part. People like Selvyn need to put themselves in a groomers shoes. A dog in a small crate or cage for 5 hours is not reason for complaint. The groomers there work hard to get through every dog as fast and as thorough as possible. And though I do NOT condone abuse for any animal, when you claim they were hitting a golden retriever, I'm sure you mean you watched a dog who was acting up (or maybe even trying to bite) get a quick correction. I don't appreciate that you are defacing this stores reputation by stretching the truth.”

  “I have never had my dog groomed here but I buy all my pets and all my pet food here. They have good quality stuff and animals. I get all my bird toys and stuff here and its awesome! I have been going here for many years.”

  “I took my miniature schnauzer to this place yesterday, I swear I will never take my dog to this place again, they kept my dog in a cage for almost 5 hours when I came back they had not even started on my dog and were trying to charge me $25 saying that they bathed my dog, I decided to let them finish and after only 30 minutes later they said they were done, the dog looked exactly the same as when I brought her in and her beard was very short and uneven, never take your dogs to this place again, by the way I saw one of the employees hitting a golden retriever.”
