  “I am in the store on a regular basis. I have gotten multiple pets from them and plan on getting a lot more. Never had a problem with a single animal. The employees have always been very helpful, even when they know I'm in there to browse and not purchase anything. They are more than willing to discuss all the animals with me, and educate me in the areas I need help with. This is a great store with amazing employees. The woman everyone is referring to as rude, is not in the slightest. She simply knows what she is talking about and will tell you what to do or how to do it. The thing that I have appreciated the most about her is that she is not afraid to tell me I'm doing something wrong with my animals and tell me how to correct my mistake. She is very helpful.”

  “We bought three rabbits from this store and when we ran into a problem they refused to help. The first two bunnies were sweet. The third bunny had been mistreated at some point and liked to bite. We tried to nurture it out of this habit to no avail. The store would not take the bunny back, even without issuing a refund. The manager offered to pass it along to a reptile dealer to be eaten, that was it. Take it or leave it. My family, inlaws etc will not be shopping at this business in the future.”

  “I don't normally go for spending money on getting our Dogs cosmetic maintenance. But my wife finally won out and I agreed to let her have them done. But man was I sorry... One of our dogs has never been groomed in his life and it kinda freaked him out. But it freaked out the groomer worse I think because before the Dog was even finished being clipped the groomer decided she couldn't handle it and threw in the towel and calls me up and nearly yells in the phone that I need to come pick up my dong and before I could say anything more than a couple of words she hung up on me. So now I was a little bent out of shape, not because the dog wasn't finished, but because of the poor attitude and complete lack of respect I was shown. I was going to apologize to the lady for my dog freaking out on her, but I wasn't given the opportunity and now I just don't plain feel like it anymore. In her rantings she proclaimed my dog needed professional training and I might have agreed with her if she gave me a chance to. And when I finally picked the dog up, I just held my tongue in an effort to be peaceable, but the last thing she did was put on a condescending smile and plop a pamphlet to a Dog training school into my hand. It was hard but I kept my composure and politely exited the establishment. Frankly I can understand her frustration, but here rudeness and the unprofessional-ism was staggering.
  
  Advice for the Groomer:
  
  1)Always treat the public with respect no matter what your personal mood is.
  
  2)You may want to take a few classes until you become proficient in dealing with animals who may not be Show Quality or that are unfamiliar with being groomed and that could be spooked by it.
  
  3)You should never let your emotions move you to act unprofessionally if you plan to stay in business, a condescending tone towards the customer is definitely a No-No, as is hanging up the phone on them.”

  “So, basically for the last two years I have been going into Petworks. They have always done everything in their power to help me. I have never had an issue with them. I dont understand how anyone could think they were rude. Great company, much better than Reef Connection, Jody is very stuck up and if you dont have a reef tank, he could care less what you have to say. A little side note, from what I understand Jody goes to Geyser Pets in Yuba City Buys frags, and doubles the price. Anyways Chico Petworks is very helpful and knowledgeable. Great people to work with.”
