    “I have not had a bad experience with this store. I bought a guinea pig there and he seems fine. The store was a little smelly & very loud but it has animals in it so what do you expect. The staff were very nice & helpful.”

    “We keep seeing people saying bad things about this place so we decided to create this post. A friend of mine and I take our dogs to the grooming department at 'the pet store, she is writing a review as well sometime soon on here and she asked me to do the same. I took my two dachshunds in to be shaved by a guy named Chris a few months ago. He was so kind and friendly. He went out of his way to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted. He was there early when I got there, I think he was the only one there if I remember correctly. He was very kind and had a big smile on his face the whole time. He told me that he would call me as soon as my babys were ready and he even told me to feel free to call or even come up myself if I wanted to be comfortable they were ok. I had never been treated so kindly at a grromers before, especially by any here sense I moved to Midland. When they were done he called me to come get them and when I did he brought them out to me as friendly as he was that morning. They looked wonderful and they even seemed happy, which has never happened before anywhere else. I just want to say that anyone in this area looking for a kind, condiderate, professional and apparently experienced groomer should ask for Chris at the pet store. I will always be taking my babys to him.”

    “I realize it is a pet store, and pet stores that carry exotic animals have an unpleasant odor.
    What I really want to say is that after taking my two shih-tzus to the infamous doggie boutique I had to find another groomer and Chris was highly recommended to my at the club so I found him working at the pet store. He was VERRY friendly end took all his time to listen to my silly particulars while writing it all down patiently. After about 4 hours he called me to pick them up. I almost didn't recognize them, because they looked fabulous. Best ever! I called to compliment him and got brushed off by the owner, however I highly recommend Chris for grooming at the pet store! Best I ever used!0”

    “This store is FABULOUS!!!I bought a puppy and he was happy,healthy,and very smart!I would recommend this pet store to any person in the Midland area.In a few days im going to buy a turtle! And one of the girls was even nice enough to call us when they get some more.She said we pick out first!How considering.I dont understand why everyone gives bad reviews this place is AMAZING!”

    “I used Your Pet's Parlor grooming last week and they totally butchered my dog. It was a young spanish girl. I believe her name was Isabel or Isabella. When I told her I was not happy she began to yell and cuss at me. Beware and read all reviews on this place. Obviously the customers happiness does not matter to this business at all! My poor little dog looked awful and butchered. My 10yr old kid could have groomed him that well.”

    “I recently went in here and just asked about all the puppies in cages. I wanted to know are they always in there. Do they ever get to be out. The girl I asked went and got the owner for me to talk to and when I pressed the issue on where the parents of these puppies live she got VERY irate. She was pointing at the door and screaming that if I didn't like how her store or puppies were that I could leave and never come back. You would think she would be happy to explain to me if everything was ligit! Obviously all of these complaints on here are TRUE!!”

    “I bought a puppie from her in Feb of 08. He seemed perfect. He died this last Thursday from a portosystemic shunt?! I am trying to get a hold of them for info on their health guarantee. We loved that dog and he was part of our family. So far I cannot get anyone to answer. Go figure. Not to mention that I paid over $500 for him. We went there this last weekend and they are selling dogs for like $599. If you look in the paper I think that you can find the same animal that was raised in a loving home not in a cage for a reasonable price.”

    “Yes they were sick when you bought them and yeah I am sure Cindy went straight to the bank with that second check the one she assured you would stay in a safe deposit box and not be touched till its due date. Very greedy owner there, you should really contact animal control and the SPCA in midland and give a report. People are going to have to come together to stop this abuse and neglect and get her put away.”

    “When this happened to us I was very upset! We bought a Boston Terrier from this pet store and the first weekend we had him we had to take him to the vet because we thought he had parvo. We paid 1/2 then and they were going to hold the check for the other 1/2 for a few days.I called as soon as they opened that Monday to let them know. I didn't want to return him I just wanted them to know that they sold us a sick puppy. Never got a return phone call they just went and cashed the check immediately. Since then we have had lots of vet bills with the dog. I would say at least 2,000 worth of just vet bills. He had mange and had to do special baths and dips and he has a senstive stomach and he also has seizures. I wouldn't trade him for the world but I do believe that they should be held accountable for knowing that they have sick dogs and are selling them to people and having no remorse.”

    “I have been in here with my small children and even they walked in and said it really smelled! My 8 yr. old son was gagging!! The puppies here always look sick, frail and very unhealthy!! I have a friend who bought a puppy from here and it died!! They do not have the proper care here to take care or sell animals!!! This store needs to be shut down!!!”

    “The animals that are in the store aren't even lively so you know they are not happy to be there! So, I wasn't the only one who smelt that! lol. They have cute clothes but that is about it ... poor animals look horrible. It's such a mess and over crowded! Horrible staff has no clue! It reallly needs to be cleaned up!     “I own a business in the same location as the pet store and I can smell that place through the walls and there are several walls between them and me. It is dirty and behind our little shopping center there is always trash from there just strung out in the grass etc. I have only been in there twice since she opened and both times I could hardly keep my lunch down! I too have complained to the city and have not seen where they even care! BEWARE and check the better business beareu for her rating....”

    “I used to work at this pet store, it's a horrible place, you have no idea what the employees see and what they do. I couldn't stand it. We have complained but the city never does anything. If the puppies are sick, they give them goat medicine! Seriously, all Cindy cares about is making a buck, not about the animals. I saw so many animals with bloody diarrhea, puppies getting dropped, puppies not going to the vet, puppies getting dry food when they have no teeth and then dying of hypoglycemia, dead animals left in cages. I quit fast, I love animals and when I tried to say something about the neglect I was accused of tattling! Please tell everyone you know not to go there, most of the puppies do come from puppy mills and thats a fact.”
