  “I took my 12 year old Bichon Frise there to be groomed and was horrified at the hair cut my dog received. He is in good condition as far as his coat is concerned. He is also a dream to groom, he does not need to be restrained and will just sit down and turn as needed. The only reason I was bringing him to a new groomer was because I wanted to try it out first before I brought my son's puppy their that I was pet sitting. My groomer could not get the puppy in for weeks and he needed a haircut badly. The groomer seemed nice when she greeted us. I told her exactly what I wanted, just a trim since my dog is regularly cut every 2 months and cleaned and brushed in between. I kiddingly said what ever you do don't shave him! She said it would be about 3 hours, I was contacted 1 1/2 hours later and told he was ready. I said wow you are fast! She mentioned that he was a little shorter than I wanted but would grow out. When I picked him up my 23 year old son and I didn't even recognize him when he came running at us. We both thought he was not our dog. He was shaved to his skin on his body and face, his ears were cut to the skin and he was obviously distraught. It has been 3 months and he is just starting to look normal. My regular groomer said that he is now very shy when she grooms him, which he never was before. I think the groomer at bubbles and bows was in a hurry and chose to shave my dog for no good reason and then tell me he was sad and crying because he had a tangle so she decided to shave him. I realize that dogs in bad shape need to be shaven, my dog was not one of them. And even if you have to shave a dog you need to call the owner first. I believe she traumatized my dog and myself in the process. There are 2 groomers there and I know people who have been satisfied but I am not one of them! I was stupid and paid her because I was in shock. I called her later and let her know I was upset and she just said it was best for the dog and that she was sorry if I didn't agree.”

  “I took my dog to see Ann Saturday for the first time. She did an excellent job on him and he didn't seem as stressed out as he normally does after a grooming. She seems to love the dogs and that always makes an owner feel better. I would recommend her to anyone.”
