“i agree ray is not a nice person has anger issues. cut a dogs ear to make it bleed and wouldnt admit it... said it was the owners fault.. dog didnt want to go in can you blame it?”

“We have been taking our dogs to Ray for 20 or so years, first when he worked on the east side and then when he started his own business. He is the best. Very knowledgeable about breed cuts and so kind to the animals. We live in New Mexico now and come back to Ohio every summer to visit our children and make a point of driving from Shaker Heights to Westlake for our dog to be groomed. We have an appointment tomorrow 7/23/14 and are also taking our son's 2 year old Golden Retriever. Richard and Jenni Fredricks.”

“From the eyes of a former employee :) I worked here a few years back. Ray does do very excellent work. He's also pretty cheap. BUT, Your poor little doggie sits in the cage all day and if it makes a peep...Well, mr wonderful ray to shut it up punches, kicks, and chokes your little furry friend. He also has very bad anger problems, I quit because he raised his hand to hit me! Your dogs ears look good, yeah, he puts anti bleeding powder in the ears, and you know what RIPS the hair out. doesnt cut it, pulls it out. Twirls it around his little scissors and yanks. Yep, no wonder your dogs are so scared of being groomed, id hate it too. Now, if you have a doggie that doesnt like water, (Theres a few) Ray doesnt care, if your dog fights him, He puts its head under the water. oh so wonderful right! Now, I would pay the extra money to take your dog somewhere else. :)”

“Our dog is now 7 years old and Cantrell's Grooming has been grooming her since she was a pup. Kaicee is a Wheaten and requires a lot of grooming, not to mention praise and kisses! Ray and his staff provide exactly what she needs to look her best! Ray is not only talented but has a true passion and love for his furry clients. Highly recommend.”

“When we moved to Westlake we got to know other family's who really care about their pet's...I've met so many people who take their dogs to Cantrell's to get groomed with the same rave reviews. I had to try them out! What a professional job they did!! My dog is quite a handful and they did a beautiful job!!!”

“Thank God for Cantrell's Grooming! Cantrell's is great. The staff is always courteous and helpful. Ray is very knowledgeable and does everything he can to please his customer and dog client. He has an eye for detail. A good bang for your buck. I am so happy I found Cantrell's. Many of my friends have switched to Cantrell's after seeing how wonderful my dogs look now. Thank you Ray!!”

“I have used many grooming shops over many years of having my dogs.. But I will say I am SOOO happy that I found Cantrell's In Westlake .. A friend and neighbor told me about Cantrells when i moved into the area. I am a little picky about where I take my little dogs . But have been extreamly happy everytime I have had my dogs groomed at Cantrells. The staff are always very pleasent and polite. And Ray is just the best... I would highly recommend this shop...”

“Wow! We just moved here, and needed to get our dog groomed before vacation. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!
First, they require you to drop the dog off early in the morning; my dog was dropped off at 8:30 am and not ready until 1:30! Then, they do not take credit cards, only cash or checks----and no ATM around. Finally, they did a simply terrible job of grooming my Westie! They gave her what looks like an extremely short puppy cut all over (so short that she'll have to stay out of the sun for weeks!)instead of a regular grooming. They made my dog look like a total stranger....and not in a good way.”
