  “I am the groomer at Pampered Pets and it is true that the poodle owner was told a different price over the phone and had her dog been in decent shape I would have stayed with the price, but after 2 hours of dematting JUST the ears and treating and cleaning infected ears from neglect I did tell her the price I would normally charge and since she was told a different price over the phone I only charged 5 extra dollars which is cheap. After trying to get her dog groomed for nothing my boss gave her back 10 dollars and asked her not to bring her dog back. If you cant take responsibility for caring for your own pet dont expect miracles for free.”

  “To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I was quoted a price over the phone, and when I went to pick up my dog, was quoted a different price. When I questioned it, was told that the groomer sets the price and the girl who quoted me a price wasn't supposed to do that. They were belligerent when I complained, and immediately went on the defensive, and were verbally abusive. I have an elderly standard poodle. They asked if my dog looked OK. I could see some stray hairs on her feet, but wanted to get my elderly dog home as she was showing signs of stress, so I just said she looked OK. When I got home and took a closer look, she had ridge lines on her body where the groomer didn't even it out. Her legs were longer than than I'd asked for. I was very specific when I dropped my dog off, I told her which blades to use, and on which parts of the body. They weren't even close. Her ears were a little matted, but no more so than they've been in the past when I've used other groomers. I still found some matting on closer inspection of her ears after being assured that they were all combed out. I'm not even sure my dog was even bathed as when I pet her I can feel the skin oil and dirt on my hands. When I called back to complain, was told they would refund me a portion of the groom fee, so I went in to get it the next day. I was subjected to some more verbal abuse from what I can only surmise was the owner. I've never, ever been treated to such hostility or verbal abusiveness anywhere. But apart from a totally mediocre grooming, my dog also exhibited some stress from the entire experience. I'm very unhappy with the groom and the experience I had there.”
