Boise Kennels was established in 1939 and has been providing love and care to clients throughout the treasure valley for over 80 years! Gina, James, and their son Cody have been pet parents their entire lives and within the last few years have dedicated their lives to pet care, training, & breeding. It all started when a family member reached out about some Labrador Retreiver puppies they were going have. Rick (Gina’s dad) got a chocolate lab puppy named Dixie. He went on to learn how to train service dogs for disabled veterans. This created a snowball effect and Gina decided to get a puppy from their next litter, a black lab named Shadow with plans to breed her with the help from James and to get Shadow service dog certified.
