We entrusted Pet Spa Dog Training 911 with the care of our 12 year old special needs cavalier. We left specific instruction that Gus did not tolerate the heat and be very careful when taking him out. We were assured that Gus was always taken out by one of the kennel staff and watched carefully. These instructions were not followed and Gus died. He was left outside unattended for approximately 30 minutes in 96.8 degree heat. Sometime after letting all the dogs back in, the staff counted heads and realized that Gus was missing. Gus was found in the backyard dead. The owner insists that leaving Gus unattended in 96.8* heat had nothing to do with his death. She believes it was just our dog's time and he died in their care with dignity. The fact is, we will never know. What we do know is that specific instructions for a special needs dog were given, those instructions were not followed and our beloved Gus died. God Speed dear Gus. Please beware.
