Vixen Hall Kennels

Rating was good for last 5 years, other than the inconvenient operating hours. This time, I arrived to find my dogs loose and running down the driveway toward my moving vehicle when I came to pick them up. After paying for baths, they ended up getting very muddy. After placing them in my car just to get some control over the situation, my car and clothes became muddy in the process. While expressing my upsetedness to Vixen Hall over the lack of control and mess of the situation, the blame was placed on me. I was asked why I put my dogs in the car - they would have cleaned them up. Well, I wanted to know why my dogs were loose, especially the one that will run away if given the opportunity. And if they would have cleaned them up, why didn't their employee tell me so, and make the suggestion to bring them inside to do it? The entire attitude displayed to me was poor, disrespectful, and condescending. The owner did not talk with me and took the word of her employee as to what had happened. I wrote out a $500 check for the boarding, and we mutually parted ways. The last rude act performed by them was leaving my dog food containers outside so that I would not need to go inside to get them. Knowing how upset I was, things would have gone better if the owner had taken the interest to come to the kennel or at least to talk with me over the phone. Now it is clear to me just how little Vixen Hall's clients mean to them.
