“I have been bringing my dog Kingston there since Dec and my dog loves it there rainny days he gets exersise and hes great with all dogs because of the socialization that this place gives him. And im from this town too and people in this town need to check this place out. If the want a happy pet”

“Hi there:
My sister 'J' lives in Skowhegan. She has always been very picky/choosey about leaving her 2 dogs(kids) with people because she always felt no one would take better care of them as she does. Now, 'J' is very happy with A-Doggie-Doo and leaving her dogs(kids) there when she needs to leave town. When 'J' told me about A-Doggie-Doo I was shocked because 'J' usually take her (4-legged kids) with her out of town. Bottom Line: The (kids) are happy and 'J' is happy when she picks them up. Now that Lisa is gone pet service is much better, (says 'J').

“We have been sending our dog here since shortly after they opened. They took him around Christmas one year because we traveled. They treated him great. My husband did Canine Good Citizen and Rally training with Lisa with both him and our dog loving it! Our dog knows that when I wear jeans on Friday, he gets to go to daycare. He gets so excited that he whines because he wants to get there quickly. He takes off as soon and he gets in the door. If he wasn't happy to go, he wouldn't act that way. We have also had him groomed several times there. He gets a bath, groomed, anal glands done, nails done, a massage, cologne, and a bandana. He looks great everytime. If that doesn't show respect and love for animals, I'm not sure what does.”

“I've used Doggy Doo since shortly after they opened and i have 2 dogs and they came out great and the price wasnt to bad. I personally havent had any problem with my dogs there. Its good to have these reviews on peoples personal expierences and this helps people to make the best choice for thier pets! I'd give Doggy Doo a chance esp since its under new ownership.”

“there is a new owner now and i am sorry that some of you are not pleased i know after reading this i would be worried about the well being of my pets i know there are new and approved staffing and well the hard times we are currently in it is hard times for consumers and retailers alike. it is sad that there are so many not good stuff out there about doggy doo but i promise as a born native in augusta i am here for you. i am a member of the united states airforce and also in law enforcement i have traveled away but always had red barn and seafood on my mind not to mention whoopie pies... i am glad to be closer to my family and cant stress enough things are new and there is no more LISA yay!!!!”

“Well, Scott, I did check it out in person and my dog suffered for it. YOU personally lied to my face when you told me that my dog, Tara, had a cut on her ear when I picked her up from playing with another dog. After taking her to the vet, we discovered dog bites on her neck, ears and back, which was abscessed. She was shaking for two days! I am so angry that this horrible place is still in operation a year later. No one should ever trust these people with their dogs!”

“Seems like most of the negative reviews have come from people who have never set foot in A Doggy Do...
I travel for business and use ADD FREQUENTLY for day care AND grooming. This is the first groomer that made the effort with my schnauzers to groom them correctly instead of just buzzing all their fur off.
They are well taken care of and I find the staff friendly and accommodating.” -

“Please people, If you love your dogs, you will find another place to take them. The staff is horrible! They left New York because of law suits! Thy have only been here a short time and have been on the news and in the newspaper because of injuring peoples pets. They insulted me when I asked them a question about a certain product that they carry. I'll never step foot in there again! I found a great little place to groom my dog. He looks great, is happy and I haven't heard anyone say that their dog had a leg broken, hip broken, clipper cut or any abuse complaints. LOVE YOUR DOG AS MUCH AS HE LOVES YOU!”

“I have been taking my dog at least 3 times a week for dog day care & have had her groomed twice since Jan by the owner Lisa. She does an excellent job as well as all her staff. The dogs are never left alone,& are watched constantly. The ones who work there now all care & love working with the pets they care for. I feel the people who reviewed in April are wrong. I highly recommend this pet care center.”

“I cannot understand how any pet owner could, with good conscience, continue to bring their beloved pet to Doggy Doo after the allegations of animal cruelty. This place is under investigation. If your pet could speak I'm sure you wouldn't like what they had to say. There are plenty of REPUTABLE dog groomers. Do your pet a favor and find one.”

“My daughter brought her two dogs for grooming at Doggy Doo to try them...what a mistake!!!! The first dog came back looked like he had cancer...all kinds of bald spots, the other dog had a huge gash taken out of her hide on her right hind leg...its horrible!!!Would you bring your car for maintenance to a receptionist? They need training on what they are doing for there business...”
