The service that they provided for my pet was horrible. This place should be shut down because they do not have a care or concern for the animals within their care. I boarded my dog there for 7 days and when we picked him up they said that everything went great. We got a block away and my dog threw up all over my car, and could not open his left eye. We went right back to the hospital and they checked him out and then had the never to tells us that he had damaged his eye, but the thing that gets me the most is that when the groomer came up to talk to us she knew all about but did not tell anyone. So after I went to another vet to make sure everything was fine it end up costing me more money in the end because Munster Animal Hospital is more interest in there name and the money that they get than the care of our pets.

I would have to say i completely disagree. Dr. Hahn is very good! He has saved my dogs life. He spends a lot of time with me every time i go. He even took the time to call me from his home to check on my puppy. he is very caring and very good at what he does. I would not go anywhere else. The staff there is super friendly and knowledgeable. I have had no problems with the groomers either. I have a small breed toy and struggle with the tears everytime he goes in he comes out completely white again! :)

We've been taking our cat there for over 3 years now. I've had some good experiences and some bad. Their prices are reasonable, but sometimes I feel like they are overlooking issues because they are busy. So far so good though. If something were seriously wrong with my cat, I would have to get a second opinion somewhere else. The groomers on location are HORRIBLE!!! I took my cat there for grooming last summer and he came back with cuts on places he wasn't supposed to be shaved (ankle). I let that slide as an accident. Then a few months later, I took him back and when we got home, he was bleeding profusely from his thigh!! I called them because it's a vetinary as well, I brought him back. Would you know, they told me that their groomers clipped his skin and it was tearing!! That's not the bad part: they ended up charging me for an emergency visit!! NEVER AGAIN!!! Go to Petsmart for grooming in Schererville. I was reluctant too, but I have had GREAT service there and CHEAPER than Munster.

Since the new hospital has opened the service there is horrible. The vets there do not spend anytime with the pets and owners. Sometimes I only see a vet tech and no Vet. I brought my dog there 3 times and seen 3 different doctors before they diagnosed him. Now he may have permanent eye damage because they took so long diagnosing it. The kicker is he has had surgery there before for the same thing and when I asked the doctors if that is what he had again each one said no and sent him home with cream and pain killers which did nothing. Now 4 visits, 1 surgery, and $700.00 later his eye is still not fixed. I would recommend if you truly care about your pets take them to a personal practice where the vet will get to know you and your pet and give you personal treatment that your pet deserves. Do not waste your time and money going to the Munster Animal hospital.

Dr Han is who everyone is talking about, he is the new owner as of sometime during 06. He has misdiagnosed my pet twice and almost cost himits life. I heard good things about this place until he became the sole owner. He will misdiagnos your pet so you have to take him back so he can charge you more. If you do go there request a diffren vet so he will not touch your animal. He doesnt care about you our your animal just the money. I feel bad for the individuals that have to put up with his negligience and sarcastic mouth. Please do me a favor and take your pet else where, even if only one person listens to this it is worth it. Im a pet lover and indivdual that cares abouot the human and proper treatment of animals. If you doubt this ask why is there such a high turnover of vets and techs and this awful place. I will say the staff is outstanding in what they do, but the so called Dr Han shoould have his license revoked!!!!!
