I took my soft-coated Wheaten Terrier here because my normal groomer is on maternity leave. WHAT A MISTAKE! My beautiful shaggy Wheaten now looks like a refugee from a concentration camp - cut ridiculously short and uneven/inconsistent in so many places that I can't begin to tell you how upset my wife and I are. They were supposed to be experienced, but the cut looks like a 5 year old did it with a pair of dull scissors. They never cut the hair between his toes, never plucked the hair from his ears, shaved him to the skin in some places and yet left his hair an inch long in others. His ears look like footballs attached to the sides of his head because he's been cut so short - Literally a GIANT MISTAKE coming to this salon and expecting a decent cut.The groomer told me on the way out that "this is how all her clients are cutting their Wheatens for summer"... Horse-Hockey! When I took him back the next day to get the poor job corrected, the owner of the place blamed me!!!! Never once did she apologize or offer a partial refund for the work she didn't do. She laid the entire problem off on her claim that he was too matted to be cut correctly. Too matted to be cut correctly? Then why did she say this is how they're all getting cut? Why didn't she call me to say they couldn't cut him? Once they shaved him down to 1/4 of an inch in most spots, why was he still so unevenly cut in other places? In my opinion, this was FRAUD!The owner was so upset with me complaining about the poor job that she tried to take it out on my dog! She took him in back to attempt to correct her errors, and while on the table, she was tugging and pulling him so hard he was whining and crying. I took my dog away from her table - called her the B-Word - and got the hell out of there as fast I I could.This owner actually got on the phone to call the police... saying that I was too mean to her and complained too much!? 2 words for all of you.... STAY AWAY!

Dave Loveless has left a completely slanderous review of the work performed on his beloved Wheaten. His Wheaten had ACL surgery in January and we were more concerned about his comfort than he was. His review is really more than unfair. He threatened me on the phone and he called me a filthy name. He scared me to death with his ugly bulging face and body lunging at me. And I DID NOT pull his dog -- his dog pulled his foot away from me and did not whine or cry -- his big ugly brute of an owner roughly grabbed him off the table as he was verbally assaulting me. I began to call the police when he returned into my salon for a second time to assault me. I can still call the police and report this and probably should. He should not own a dog -- he is not a good pet owner! Shame on him -- but he\'s probably hen pecked because he left happy and his wife probably beat him UNmercifully because he didn\'t know what he was talking about when he asked for a \"summer clip.\" Can\'t wait for his \"normal groomer\" to come back from maternity leave -- beware to all groomers out there -- DO NOT ACCEPT DAVE LOVELESS
