This has created a strong demand for qualified animal care services in the fields of pet grooming and veterinary assisting. The school emphasis is placed on Pet Grooming shop operations and management for pet grooming students wishing to open their own business. The Pet Grooming school is dedicated to continually improving the pet grooming industry as well as itself. Florida Institute of Animal Arts is a testing center for the National Dog Groomers Association of America for their national certifications. The Veterinary Assistant school provides instruction in a professional environment from highly qualified instructors. The Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, and Veterinary Assistants that teach have many years of experience and are respected and recognized in the industry. These professionals will teach, monitor progress and give personal attention to Veterinary Assistant students. Instruction is divided between lecture, laboratory and externship experiences.
