The Groom Shop

Anyone who has taken their pet to the Groom Shop in Green Valley Arizona, please contact Lisa Dow at 408-218-2117. On Tuesday November 13th my mother dropped off her Shih Tzu for boarding at the Groom Shop in the care of the owner's hands. On Saturday she went to pick up her dog only to find that he had been mauled by the owner's two dogs and couldn't even walk or stand. She immediately took the dog to the local vet and the vet was apauled at what he saw. The dog had a dislocated hip and puncture wounds all over. They sent my mother up to Tucson Emergency Clinic where again the vets were apauled that this dog was not brought to the Vet immediately after this mauling happened. After $2600 and many hours of trying to keep the dog alive he died!! The owner of the Groom Shop stated that she found the dog laying on the ground with her two dogs around him. She also stated that her two dogs always rough played with each other "throwing each other against the fence". She picked up the dog knowing it couldn't walk and washed him off. She said this happened on Friday evening and knowing that my mother was back in town already she didn't even bother to call her. Saturday morning her son called and said that my mother's dog was ready for pick up. When my mother got there she was devasted. When asked, the owner of the Groom Shop stated that she didn't think he was that bad even though the dog couldn't stand or walk!! Apparently, this is not the first time she had a dog in her care that died. If you or anyone you know has had something happen to your pet in her care please don't hesitate to call. This owner or The Groom Shop should not be allowed to care for other's animals or even have her own!!!! If I were you I would NEVER trust this woman or the Groom Shop with your animals for a second. You may be in complete devestation like my mother.
