Touch Of Love Pet Grooming

I took my cock-a-poo in for a shampoo and brushing. He had a couple of mats and I was very clear that they were only to cut the mats out and, under no circumstances, shave my dog. I even told them that I was fine with my dog being a bit patchy if some of the matted areas were big. Well, they did exactly what I told them NOT to do. They shaved him completely bald. His hair is so short I can even see the freckles on his skin. The person I gave the instructions to when I dropped him off left out the back door as soon as I walked in. She clearly did not want to have to speak to me. The girl who brought him to me just said, "well, we'll mark his card for next time." I assure you, there will be no next time. They still charged me full price even though they did the very thing I specifically told them not to do. I am not at all happy with the way they handled my dog or my unhappiness over the situation. They didn't even apologize.

Do NOT go to this groomer! After writing my first review on this groomer, I thought I would call the owner of Touch of Love and give her a chance to handle the situation better. Well, she not only refused to apologize or make any effort to make me feel better about this, she actually hung up on me. She said that she didn't know what to tell me and that she trusts her groomers. She said there was obviously a miscommunication between the person I spoke with when I dropped the dog off and the person who actually groomed him. She said that "sometimes happens" and there is nothing she could do about it. She was clearly uninterested in what happened and was not at all concerned that her groomers shaved the dog. After telling me I was out of luck and she couldn't put hair back on the dog, she hung up on me.
